British Pie Week runs this year from 2 to 8 March 2026 with the British Pie Awards in Melton Mowbray sitting at the heart of the celebrations that honour the craft and skill of British pie makers throughout the UK.

HSSP Architects are honoured to once again be a sponsor of these national awards. This year we are sponsoring the Pasty Class which will no doubt attract an array of delicious creations.

The class will be judged cold, and the pasties have to be commercially sold.

HSSP Director, Nick Cooper, is thrilled to return as a judge again this year and as part of the judging regime will be casting a critical eye over the pasty class to score their appearance, taste, etc. and whether they meet the entry requirements.

With 26 classes, including hot and cold, sweet and savoury, meat, fish, vegetarian, vegan, and free-from, it gives pie makers’ infinite possibilities with their creativity.

The winners will be announced on 6 March 2026, and we wish all entrants the very best of luck.
