Hazelwood School, Surrey

HSSP Architects have been involved in the future masterplanning of the school for some time and part of this role has involved the design of a new education building with 13 classrooms, a large assembly hall and specialist music and art facilities.
The Head Teacher has a brave vision for the school and this was reflected in her requirements of the new building. This vision and an aspiration to design a sustainable building with the pupil’s vantage point at the heart has led to the creation of a truly exciting piece of architecture.
The building has recently recieved planning approval by Tandridge Borough Council.
