HSSP Architects are delighted to welcome Chartered Architect, Khaled Haj Hussein, who comes with a wealth of experience to further strengthen the team. Originating from France with a fascinating international family history, and having studied in France and the USA, he has a global background and finds it interesting how architecture differs by country.

As a child, he always enjoyed immersing himself into drawing and making things, and a few days’ work experience at age 16 in an architects practice ignited his passion for the sector so much, he chose a career in architecture over medicine as he wanted a more creative pathway.

His enthusiasm lies at the early design and conceptual stage of the residential sector, as he feels this is where he can have the most design influence and be able to create amazing homes and spaces for clients by interpreting their dreams into their reality.

Away from work he is a true family man and adores spending time with his wife and young family. But when he does manage to juggle in a rare few minutes for himself, he relaxes playing the guitar or putting in the miles on his bicycle. Having had the Tour de France whipping past the balcony of his family home in France, he got bitten by the cycling bug from an early age!

He is a wizard in the kitchen too, preparing family meals and baking; we cannot wait to try his renowned chocolate chip cookies and brownies!!
