HSSP are delighted to welcome back Lydia Brant to the team for a summer placement. Lydia originally joined HSSP in 2021 for her Part 1 year out placement, then headed back to De Montfort University to start her Part 2, so it is lovely to have her with us once more.

We also got to see her beautiful Master’s work first hand as De Montfort University’s Art & Design Degree Show is running 16 – 21 June 2023. HSSP’s Ros, Nick and Ian headed to the show on Friday, got to meet up with Lydia, and were treated to a personal guided talk through her project which encompasses visual and sensory colours and corresponding natural floral perfumes as part of her design.

Later at the awards ceremony, we were naturally overjoyed when Lydia was presented with an award for the dissertation that accompanied her stunning project ‘Redefining oneliness’ and she is now a proud ‘Master of Architecture Dissertation Prize Winner’.

The show also gave us chance to view the talent of other aspiring architectural students and to look for potential candidates for Part1 year out placements with us this year.
