Katie Searle

Katie graduated from The University of Nottingham in 2020 with a first class honours degree and joined HSSP soon after. Her love of drawing as a child developed into a passion for art, so when combined with her enjoyment of maths, this naturally lead to a curiosity for blending creativity and logic, and a career in architecture emerged.
Whilst at university she developed an interest in community projects; her final project was a primary school that focused on inclusivity for autistic children. She valued the opportunity to work on real life designs and schemes with HSSP and decided to stay an extra year in practice. She enjoys the studio environment and started a much coveted architectural apprenticeship with The University of Nottingham at the start of the 2022/23 academic year.
Outside of work she enjoys going out with friends and attending live music events.
