Nick graduated from De Montfort University and then undertook a year long Rotarian Ambassadorial Scholarship at Sydney University, which involved the study of passive solar design techniques whilst working on commercial and leisure projects on the east coast of NSW and Queensland. After returning to the UK, Nick joined HSSP Architects in 1994, becoming a member of the RIBA in 1997. He became a Partner in 2003, then a Director in 2007.
Nick has extensive experience across the architectural landscape and enjoys designing bespoke and unique projects tailored to our clients’ aspirations. He has a particular passion for community projects, schools and heritage buildings, and for breathing new life into spaces.
He is part of the HSSP hill walking team who enjoy a good saunter around the stunning countryside whilst raising lots of money for charity. He also partakes in an annual canal boat pilgrimage with his chums adding to the local waterways ambience with their antics!
Nick is married and has 2 daughters to help keep him in check. When not being ‘Dad taxi’ he is a season ticket holder at Leicester Tigers Rugby Club, and has completed the London Marathon a number of times… but is never doing it again!
