Architectural Assistant, Certified Passivhaus Designer and Sustainability Consultant

BArch(Hons), Dip Arch

Graduating from Edinburgh College of Art, Thomas gained two years’ experience working in an architects practice in Scotland before joining HSSP in 2013. During his academic career he has also been involved in charity and community building projects in Ghana and Romania. He enjoys getting his hands dirty and being involved in the construction process including working on an innovative straw bale house designed by HSSP for his sisters’ family. Thomas is currently working towards his ARB Part 3 to complete his training to be an Architect.

Thomas has a very strong interest in social and environmental issues, working on his family’s environmentally conscious farm. In his spare time he enjoys practicing capoeira, the Brazilian martial art, as well as cycle touring, music and astronomy. He has also recently taken up surfing and lindy hop.
