Yaroslava originally joined the HSSP team for her year out placement after she graduated with a first class honours degree from The University of Nottingham in 2022. She followed this with her Part 2 Masters degree and on its successful completion returned to HSSP.

Growing up in a small isolated village in Ukraine with a pet cow called Star, she has always had a creative mind. One of her first school projects after coming to the UK, was to build a model castle, swiftly followed by a pizzeria. Meanwhile at home, she was busy constructing a dolls house.

She knew at GCSE level that she wanted to become an architect and design full sized buildings, not just miniature ones, and enjoys working in practice on real life projects. Away from work, you will find Yaroslava off out for a walk, immersing herself into nature and spending time with her friends and family at the weekends.
