We are delighted to share completion of a development that has breathed new life into a former residence with a fascinating history and regenerated it onto the next stages of its journey.

Built in the 1800s as the principal residence for a nearby windmill, it has been a landmark building for generations. Set in a Conservation Area, it is of local interest and historical merit.

Latterly it had been used as a B&B, guesthouse and self catering holiday home, but desperately needed a new visionary owner that could realise its full potential.

Step forward our client, Solus Homes, who engaged HSSP Architects to design the conversion of the house to desirable formal style housing consisting of five townhouses, with two new build bungalows to the rear.

Located in the highly coveted seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea, the houses boast beautiful Flemish bond brickwork and brick detailing, along with Dutch gabling and ornate head/cill detailing. Some of these intricacies are also reflected in the new bungalows.

These stunning properties are available as holiday homes from The Landmark Collection.
