HSSP Architects and our client, Solus Homes, are proud to have won the Regional Award for ‘Best Residential Extension’ at the LABC East Midlands Building Excellence Awards 2025. 

Bold regeneration of a 6 bed run down arts and crafts style residence to family home magnificence. Designed to be subservient to the original house, the new wing has taken the place of the former extensions. Constructed from upcycled bricks, reclaimed Swithland slate and render to match the house, they flawlessly fuse as one. Cast stone features bring gravitas, yet these have been soothingly balanced with the preservation, restoration and remodelling of the front and rear facades.

This win now qualifies us for the LABC Grand Finals in London on 23 January 2026.
