HSSP Architects were engaged to undertake multiple works for a client as part of their exciting large-scale remodelling and refurbishment plans for their beautiful family home.
One part of the project was to design a new multi-bay replacement garage to incorporate an upstairs self-contained annexe for their teenager, alongside a family gymnasium.
Our clients wanted a full suite of services, which included the interior design of the annexe, specification and ordering of the furniture, fixtures and fittings, and co-ordination of the deliveries, to an exceedingly tight non-negotiable timescale.
Given black/anthracite grey as the colour scheme, our interior designer created a modern open plan space that is cleverly carved one end to give privacy by a dual aspect wall; a media wall to the living space and wardrobes to the bedroom area.
The bold hues are strikingly contrasted with timber feature walls and timber elements, whilst the vertical detailing on the built in furniture echoes that of the feature walls.
Hosting a kitchen/dining area, living space, bedroom area, and a bathroom that are flooded with natural daylight, it really is a dream teenage living space.
