News - Regeneration Projects

There is little more satisfying that regenerating a tired and lonesome building, space, or land into a thriving development that revitalises the locality and breaths life back into the area.

We at HSSP have designed some remarkable transformations for visionary clients and are taking a look at the ‘before’ and ‘after’ of these. Some are still being built or are to commence being built, so we have included their ‘after’ visuals.

Car park to Goldwell Manor Care Home

Land that once housed a Drill Hall that was flattened into a car park has been regenerated with the building of this new care home.

Taxi office to 16 Apartments

A once busy taxi office and workshops that had fallen into dilapidation is set to be demolished with a new apartment complex set to take its place.

Working farm to residential development; Bull in the Oak

To move a working farm to a new location on the land and design five new dwellings in the appearance of a traditional farmstead in its place that fully integrates with its surroundings.

Former hospital to stylish Wyndham Lodge apartments

Sympathetic conversion of 17th century Grade II listed derelict former War Memorial Hospital into stunning luxury apartments.

Land to pavilion for Yateley United Football Club

On what was once a patch of land, a pavilion has arisen that will modernise the offering of the club itself and strengthen their support of the health and wellbeing of the local community.

Disused building to modern apartments; Fowke Street

A disused former club building and brownfield site reinvented into an impressive residential development that draws inspiration from the conservation area it is in.

Former stables to chic apartments; The Stables

The former stables were in a woeful state and have been regenerated into luxury dwellings that are mindful of the building’s heritage and its Grade II listed status.

Looking at these images gives a flavour of what can be done through inspired design. If you own or have spotted a derelict building that you think has potential for regeneration, why not give HSSP a call to talk it through?
