Extension, Woodhouse

HSSP Architects were appointed by a client to design a sympathetic extension to a recently converted barn. The new extension created a 100% floor area increase, delivering a new kitchen, living room, entrance hall and cloak room on the ground floor, and a large master suite on the first floor, accessed via a new galleried landing. The new additions have been design to reflect the original stone barns, with matching brick detailing, and swithland slate roofs. The southern elevation maximise the open countryside views with large expanses of glazing to all of the principle living spaces, with traditional mix of oak, stone interior feature.
